Milan’s Christmas tree lives on
Anyone who’s ever had a real Christmas tree knows that, however lovely they look, come January you have to start the troublesome task of finding a way to get rid of it.
Imagine how much more difficult that is if your Christmas tree is 30 metres tall. That’s just the problem facing the City of Milan but this year they’ve come up with an innovative solution. After the Christmas holidays the tree that stood in the Piazza Duomo will be recycled and turned into 60 park benches that will be installed across the city’s parks.
What a great green solution!
