Nina and Bentley reunited
When Dallas nurse Nina Pham was diagnosed with Ebola after caring for a US victim of the disease <http://news.yahoo.com/nina-pham-identified-as-dallas-nurse-with-ebola-165521689.html>the main concern was of course for her health.
But it wasn’t just Nina who was affected. Her King Charles spaniel Bentley was put into quarantine and tested for the disease. Whilst Nina was in hospital Bentley spent his days in the care of Dallas Animal Services who were keen to reassure Nina that they would look after him. Thankfully Nina made a full recovery and one of the first things she did was to thank DAS for looking after her beloved pet.
Bentley tested negative for the disease and he and Nina were happily reunited once he was released from quarantine. Awwww
Whilst Nina and Bentley’s story has a happy ending the Ebola epidemic is still causing widespread suffering, particularly in West Africa. You can contribute to the Ebola Crisis Appeal here < http://www.dec.org.uk/?gclid=CJjQjvaL6cECFaNQ2wodO78AsA >
